Catania by night

Before leaving Catania for Siracusa, here are some pictures of Catania by night taken after dinner. Here's Via Etnea. It was a bit cool and a Monday night, so not crowded like in the day.

I stumbled upon the Via Santa Filomena district. I wasn't worried about getting lost though, I knew that I only had to head north until I reached Via Umberto I then I would know how to get back to my lodgings from there.

As you can tell, it's a dining and drinking district.

Fortunately I already had dinner so it was easy to just gawk at the upmarket restaurants.

And some of them were quite popular.
